Lafia Emirate warns against election violence

The Lafia Emirate Council in Nasarawa State has warned against any act that would lead to a breach of law and order before, during and after today’s elections. A senior kingmaker of the council, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi Wakili, the Makungiji, advised the people, especially the youth, to abide by the laws to enhance peace. According to him, election should not be an automatic ticket to violence, as many families have members in different political parties.
