Uber appoints Osobajo Oyinade Marketing Manager, W/Africa

Uber has appointed the former Marketing Manager for Philip Morris Nigeria, Osobajo Oyinade as its new Head of Marketing, West Africa.

In her new capacity, Oyinade will be responsible for leading the marketing direction for Uber within the West African market.

Her appointment which took effect from this month came after she left the services of Philip Morris in December, last year.

Oyinade is a  marketing professional with over 10 years broad experience and specialties in strategic marketing management, portfolio innovation strategies, brand equity management, analysis, market segmentation, brand profitability, product development, marketing, data analytics, consumer conversation management, consumer behaviour analysis, media content strategy, communication channel strategy and digital and  media marketing.

Part of her years’ experience includes a period of over four years spent at Diageo Group where she was Brand Manager for the Johnnie Walker brand and Innovation Manager for Spirits and RTD. She was also at DDB Lagos where she spent over four years and also at SO&U, where she commenced her career.

Oyinade is an alumna of the Lagos State University where she bagged a degree in Microbiology. She also holds an M.Sc in Media & Communication, Marketing Communications from the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University and a certificate in Digital Media/Internet Marketing from BlueMagnet Web Intellect, Johannesburg, South Africa.
