I’ll rebuild Ekeukwu market for Owerri people – Uzodinma

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodinma, has promised to replace the Ekeukwu market, which Governor Rochas Okorocha destroyed with a new ultra modern market.

He also reminded Imo people that the upcoming governorship election is a clear choice between bondage and liberty.

Uzodinma, who spoke at a rally in Egbu in Owerri municipal local government council on Tuesday, said Imo people should vote for him on March 9th because he represents the path to liberty while the outgoing government of Rochas Okorocha represents bondage.

He promised Owerri people that he will restore the lost glory of the town and emphasised that he will build an ultra modern market to replace the Ekeukwu market

He also promised to  build a modern Oha Owerri hall for the Elders of the ancient Owerri kingdom

He stated that he has shown both the courage and the determination to obliterate bondage from Imo state and urged the people to vote for him so that he can conclude the good job he has started from the Senate.

He lamented that since 2011 the incumbent governor has held Imo people in hostage while appropriating their collective wealth.

According to the governorship candidate, the governorship election is actually between Okorocha and Imo people, adding that since he is the only candidate that has demonstrated that he has the capacity and courage to fight Okorocha’s tyranny, Imo people should vote for him as governor so that he can also recover all the stolen Imo wealth from him.

He assured that his government will usher in an unprecedented era of economic growth, wealth creation, prosperity and liberty for Imo people.
