#NigeriaDecides: Buhari beats Atiku in Zamfara

The presidential candidate of the President Muhammadu Buhari has won all the 14 local government areas in Zamfara state after the collation of the results was completed in Gusau, by the INEC collation centre in the state.

Buhari scored 438,682 votes to defeat his main opponent, Atiku Abubakar, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 125,423 votes, according to the results declared by the IINEC Returning Officer in the state, Prof. Kabir Bala.

According to him, the number of registered voters is 1,717,128 while the total accredited voters stands at 616,168. Valid votes are 578,437; Rejected votes stood at 18,785, just as the total Votes cast is 597,222.
