#NigeriaDecides: Atiku floors Buhari in Enugu state (OFFICIAL)

A former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has defeated President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu state.

The State Collation Officer for Presidential Election (SCOPE) in the state, Prof. Joseph Eberendu Ohanegwu, said while President Muhammadu Buhari polled 54,423 to come second, Atiku garnered 355,553 to win the state.

Ohanegwu, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, also gave the details of the performance of all participating parties in the 17 local governments of the state as:

He also listed the valid votes to be 421,013; rejected votes as 30,049; total votes cast being 451,063; total registered voters at 1,935,168 and total accredited voters being 452,765.

The Returning Officer added that 2,910 votes were cancelled at three poling units in two local government areas of the state.
