The incumbent Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has delivered his local government to President Muhammadu Buhari in the Saturday’s general elections.
Ganduje, who is from Dawakin Tofa, secured 37,147 votes for the president.
The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar went home with 6,507 votes.

Governor Ganduje had promised five million votes for the incumbent president.
Buhari is in early lead in Kano, according to results coming to the INEC collation centre.
