Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, cruised to a comfortable win at Unit 007A, Central Primary School Gwarangah, Bogoro local government area, Bauchi, where the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara voted.

Atiku polled 285 votes to beat President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC who got 15 votes.
