Lagos: Massive voters’ turnout despite late arrival of election materials in Alimosho

Voting has commenced in virtually all the polling units in Alimosho local government area of Lagos state except few polling units at Ijaye, Ojokoro where electoral personnel arrived late.

As at 9:00am, voters were waiting for election materials at Ward E and C at Ojokoro while voting has started at Ward F and A in Akowonjo area of the state.

Daily Trust also noticed absence of security personnel at some of the polling units visited in Alimosho area.

Our reporter reports that the voters conducted themselves peacefully in the areas visited as at 10 am.
