INEC retrieves sensitive materials to CBN in Kogi

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Kogi state said all sensitive materials earlier deployed across the state have been retrieved and currently in custody of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Head, Voters Education and Publicity of INEC in Kogi, Ahmed Biambo, who confirmed this to Daily Trust on Monday said all the materials were intact.

He said policemen and men of the Department of State Services were stationed at the CBN to ensure adequate security for the materials.

Biambo also said that the card readers earlier deployed were all retrieved intact and are currently being configured at Commission’s office ahead of the rescheduled poll.
