Social Democratic Party, (SDP) in Nasarawa State says it is shocked by the decision of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to postpone elections by one week.

State Chairman of the party, Danlami Musa said in a press statement issued in Lafia that, “This is not good news to the SDP family, as the party was fully prepared to set all the mercenaries in place and adequately loaded to give all other political parties.”

According to the statement, SDP, as a law-abiding party, who always respect the independence of our electoral body and have absolute confidence that it will conduct free, fair and credible elections.

SDP however calls on its supporters to conduct themselves in the oncoming elections.
