‎2018/2019 NPFL: Kano Pillars beats Nasarawa United 3-0‎ ‎

Kano Pillars Football Club on Sunday defeated visiting Nasarawa United FC of Lafia 3-0 in a 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Group B Match Day 6 fixture.

In the match played at Kano’s Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano Pillars outplayed the visitors in all departments of the game.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Adamu Hassan opened scoring in the 20th minute, Chinedu Sunday doubled the lead in the 26th minute of the game.

Hassan who was later voted Man of the Match scored his second goal of the evening in the 34th minute from close range to seal victory for the home team.

The Chief Coach of Kano Pillars, Ibrahim Musa, later told NAN that he was delighted with the performance of his players.

“The boys gave their best and everybody can also see the improvement in the team’s performance.

“I assure you that we will continue to improve on this,” Musa said.

NAN reports that Kano Pillars who have eight points from six matches played ‎will host Go Round FC on Wednesday in Kano in continuation of the competition.‎(NAN)
