Photographer Chinwe’s last good read is Sobonfu Some’s ‘The Spirit of Intimacy’. “The book is about the ancient African teachings I the ways of relationships and spirituality. It reveals the role of spirits in relationship, marriage and community,” she said.
Chinwe is a self-taught photographer whose works empower and celebrate identity, culture, representation, heritage and the African diaspora. She is a fellow at the Royal Society of Arts, was nominated for RPS 100 heroines by the Royal Photographic Society England and an honourable mention award in the People-Portrait Category in International Photography Awards (IPA) 2018.
