A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Architect Reuben Okoya, says the tedious campaigns and supports the party was enjoying in the state showed that it will record landslide victory during the presidential, National and State Assemblies.
Okoya, while speaking with newsmen on Thursday at Famgbe community in Yenagoa local government area during the party’s rally for its candidates in Bayelsa central, stated that the people of Bayelsa will always stand by PDP because the party had been fair to the state.
He said: “PDP is the party to be with, its a party to support here in Bayelsa. We need to support our party all the way to sustain the gains made so far in the socio-economic development of the state.
“We are all working hard to ensure that PDP stays in the state for greater things to happen, nobody knows what tomorrow brings, but we are all hopeful that we will all be a part of the development of Bayelsa.”
