The Bauchi State branch of Nigeria Bar Association, NBA has rejected the order given by its national leadership to boycott Courts sittings in protest of the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen by President Muhammadu Buhari over corruption allegations.
In a statement, signed by its state chairman and secretary, Barrister M.M Maidoki and A.S Gumba respectively, the NBA stated that the directive given by the national body was uncalled for.
