The minister of works, housing and power, Babatunde Fashola has arrived Calabar, capital of Cross River State to flag off the reconstruction of the Akpet to Odukpani section of the Ogoja-Ikom-Calabar federal highway.
The road was not completed alongside the other 250km section.
The Akpet to Odukpani section is 75km stretch.

Fashola is leading a long convoy to inspect the long stretch of the road.
Three contractors were said to have been engaged and two seem to have delivered, remaining the 75 km segment.
