Ahead of the formal presentation of the 2019 Appropriation Bill before a joint session of the National Assembly today, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has arrived the legislative chamber.
Also spotted alongside Osinbajo were Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, over thirty ministers, presidential aides and other top government functionaries.
These include Ministers of Budget and National Planning, Udo Udoma; Finance, Zainab Ahmad; Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; Labour, Chris Ngige; Aviation, Hadi Sirika; Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed and Health, Isaac Adewole, among others.
As at the time of filing this report, both Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, are respectively presiding proceedings of each legislative chamber.
The joint session of the budget presentation is expected to take place at the House of Representatives wing of the National Assembly with Saraki presiding.
As at 11.55 am, Buhari is yet to arrive for the budget presentation.
