Osinbajo presides over FEC as Buhari presents budget

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently presiding over today’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Daily Trust reports.

This is just as all arrangements have almost been concluded for the presentation of next year’s budget to the joint session of the National Assembly today.

Daily Trust reports that the presentation would be made by President Muhammadu Buhari by 12noon at the National Assembly.

The budget presentation is coming six weeks late when compared to that of this year which was presented on November 7,2017.

Last year’s presentation lasted for about two hours with the President standing for 62 minutes to read budget proposal.
