“The current social investment programme (N-Power) by the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has sustained positive impact on youths and therefore need to be supported by all and sundry.

“I therefore call on all Nigerians, especially the youths to come out enmasse and vote President Muhammadu Buhari come 2019 general elections,” the statement read.

He added that the signing of “Not Too Young to Run” bill by the president was another indication that the President Buhari cared about the youths and was laying the foundation for their participation in the political process.

“Our youths must be agents of change and peaceful co-existence. The change we desire must start from them. Youths must use all their talents to serve the Nigerian nation as their fatherland. Youths must also help government at all levels in the implementation of policies.

“Nigerian youths must shun violence and continue to promote the unity of Nigeria. The Nigerian youth must continue to learn wisdom, courage, hard-work, sincerity and fear of God, qualities which will bring about national development,” the senator stated.
