Yobe speaker resigns

The speaker of Yobe state assembly, Adamu Dama Dogo, has resigned.

Daily trust gathered that Dogo resigned voluntarily.

But other lawmakers claimed his resignation was prompted by impeachment moves building up against him.

The house has elected Ali Machina as the new speaker.
