This year’s ‘Best Books of 2018’ list, Daily Trust Saturday’s inaugural, will be released on Saturday, 8th of December. On it are two collections of poetry, one by a Nigerian, and the other a Ugandan. This is noteworthy, as the genre of poetry continues to enjoy a steady rise in profile.
Compiled by Abdulkareem Baba Aminu (Editor, Daily Trust Saturday), Abubakar Adam Ibrahim (Features Editor), Nathaniel Bivan, Victoria Bamas, and Hafsah Abubakar Matazu, the list is populated by a wide selection of books in diverse genres.
The ‘Best Books of 2018’ list will be published in this weekend’s edition of Daily Trust Saturday, on the same day the online version will be available.
