A witness in the trial involving former chairman of Warawa local government area of Kano state, Alhaji Shehu Shazali has testified against the former local council boss.
It could be recalled that the former chairman was arraigned
for allegedly forging land documents owned by Katarkawa Enclave Farmers Association and Multipurpose Corporation.
In his testimony, Sergeant Muhammad Shehu confirmed
to the court that one of the documents was forged.
The complainants claimed that the land was allocated to them by the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA)
since 1992.
The presiding judge judge Muktari Garba Dandago adjourned
the case to 7th January 2019 for further mentioning.
