National Peace and Reconciliation Committee set up by the National Working Committee (NWC) of All Progressive Congress, (APC) for the North-East Zone under the chairmanship of the Governor of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Tanko Al-Makura has commenced its assignment.
In a statement signed by the secretary of the committee, Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, Esq, said, “All members of the party in the North-East States, especially those that participated at the just concluded party primaries for the 2019 General Elections and are aggrieved with the process and outcome of the exercises, that the committee will be visiting states in the North-East to interact with them with a view to resolving all the issues arising from the party primaries in the best interest of the party.”
The statement added that Borno and Yobe were scheduled for Tuesday November 27 2018 at Government House, Maiduguri by 12.00 noon; Bauchi and Gombe are scheduled for Wednesday November 28 at Command Guest-House, by Awalah Roundabout, Bauchi by 12.00 noon and Adamawa and Taraba for Thursday November 29 at Government House, Yola by 12.00 noon.
