Wepay e-commerce platform opens shop in Nigeria

A new online shopping platform, Wepay, will on Monday launch its services in Nigeria.

A statement from the e-commerce firm today said the launch event is billed for the BODC Trading & Investment company’s corporate headquarters at Osborne Foreshore Estate, Ikoyi in Lagos.

The platform, which will deal on a wide variety of products, including the latest mobile devices, computer gadgets and accessories, is also expected to blaze the trail in the area of customer experience with extended warranties and after care services including repairs and maintenance of customers’ devices, free accessories like battery chargers, Bluetooth earpieces etc.

Wepay’s Managing Consultant, Akin Kehinde, said the e-commerce platform will rely on the combination of its cutting-edge technology deployment and knowledge of the Nigerian market to deliver to the consumers the flexibility that allows them buy quality products at good prices.
