Happening now: Osinbajo presiding over FEC

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council chamber of the State House Villa,Abuja in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari is expected to return to the country from Paris, France on Wednesday where he attended the first edition of the Paris Peace Forum, organised by the French Government and a number of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).

Osinbajo arrived the Council chamber at 11.02 and the meeting was kick started with the National Anthem. The opening prayers were said by the Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu and his Education counterpart, Adamu Adamu.

At the end of the meeting, the State House correspondents are expected to be briefed on the resolution of the meeting.
