Flutterwave hires CEO, director

A United States payments technology company, Flutterwave, has appointed the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Visa, Joe Saunders, into its board.

Also, the company has appointed its co-founder, Olugbenga Agboola, as the chief executive officer.

According to a statement, he replaced Iyin Aboyeji, the former CEO of the company.

Agboola is a financial technology engineer, with core financial services technology experiences with Paypal, Google, GTBank, Access Bank, Standard /StanbicIBTC Bank

Commenting on the  appointment, Agboola said: “On behalf of the entire Flutterwave team, we wish Iyin luck in his future endeavours. Moving forward; the entire Flutterwave team and I are excited for Flutterwave’s future and look forward to growing the company.”
