Two men, Kenneth Adams, 24 and Aliyu Jafaru, 26 have been arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Kano state for allegedly aiding and abetting theft.
The accused persons both residents of Masaka quarters Karu Local government of Nasarawa state were charged for armed robbery, aiding and abetting of a stolen property contrary to Sections 6 (a) (b) (c) 1 (1) (2), 2 of robbery and fire armed (special provision) ACT CAP R: 11 CFM of 2004.
The prosecutor, Goshith Elisha told the court that the accused criminally conspired and received one ash colored Mercedes Benz 4matic with the registration number ABC554AY valued at N6, 700,000, a stolen property belonging to Uche John of Masaka quarters of Karu local government, Nasarawa state.
He said the car was collected from two armed robbers Abdulrazak Zaki and Aliyu (surname unknown) of different addresses in Nasarawa state.
The accused persons however, pleaded guilty to the charges they were accused of when the charge sheet was read to them.
The presiding Judge, Hajiya Nafisa Yusuf Hassan, ordered that the accused persons be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case to 6th November, 2018 for further hearing.
