The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Niger State, Umar Nasko, has picked a former member of the State House of Assembly, Mohammed Ndayako, as running mate.
The Director of Communications of the campaign organisation of the PDP candidate, Yahaya Mohammed Usman, disclosed this in a statement issued in Minna yesterday.
“The PDP gubernatorial candidate of Niger State for the 2019 governorship election, Umar Nasko, after due consultation with PDP stakeholders, has endorsed the nomination of Barrister Mohammed Ndayako as his running mate in the upcoming governorship race,” he said.

He said both Nasko and Ndayako were grassroots mobilizers whose combination would tilt the calculation in favour of the opposition party.
