The Nasarawa State Police Command says it is not aware of an auto crash involving Khalid Tanko Al-Makura, son of the Nasarawa State governor, which injured three persons.
Khalid had penultimate Friday rammed into a commercial tricycle popularly called Keke NAPEP with his car in Lafia, injuring three persons. When journalists visited the state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Faustina Alegbe, they confirmed the incident, saying their officers went to the scene but declined revealing the identity of the driver of the vehicle.
But the spokesman of the police command, SP Idrisu Kennedy, said he did not receive any signal about accident.
“I can only comment on what I know as the spokesperson of the command and anything I don’t have knowledge about I will not comment on,” he said.
