Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state on Tuesday led a delegation to condole the family of Late Miss Hauwa Mohammed Liman who was executed by Boko Haram insurgents yesterday.

The late Liman was killed by her captors following the expiration of the deadline issued by the terrorists to ICRC and the Nigerian government.

Governor Shettima, who described her death as devastating, offered a special prayer for the peaceful repose of her soul.

He said the late humanitarian worker sacrificed her life while serving humanity and assured that the government will keep in touch with her family.

The governor condemned the terrorists’ act, saying they will be completely decimated soon.

Dail Trust recalls that the late Liman is one of the aid staff working with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), who were abducted by Boko Haram in Rann, Borno state around March this year.
