Youth groups invoke “Amadioha” on Umahi over anti-Obi comments

Groups under the auspices of coalition of Igbo Youth Organisations say the chairman of the south east governors forum, Gov David Umahi of Ebony must apologise for statements he made against Peter Obi being picked running mate for Atiku Abubakar.

The groups called Umahi’s a disdain and a stab in the back.

Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzo who stood for Ohanaeze Youth Council, Mazi Alex Okemiri for World Igbo Youth Congress and Mr. Chidera Udutcha as national president for Igbo Students Youth Forum in a joint statement in Abakaliki demanded Umahi’s apology be extended to Atiku.

“Failure to do that he will be invoke our deity “The Great Amadioha” against him. He who have ear let him hear,” the statement said.

“Umahi has avaricious demonstrated his political greedy, selfishness, and hatred for the common goal of the Ndigbo,” the group noted.
