Manchester United are targeting two of Serie A’s best young defensive performers.
ESPN says Jose Mourinho wants United to spend big money on Milan Skriniar of Inter Milan and Alessio Romagnoli of AC Milan in January.
The report states the United manager has asked the board to show he has a long term future by spending big when the window reopens.
There has been plenty of speculation about Mourinho’s position after a string of disappointing performances and the Portuguese wants the board to back him in public by giving him the funds necessary in the next window.
