The People Redemption Party, PRP, has elected its national chairman, Falalu Bello, to fly the party’s flag in the governorship election in Kaduna State.
Bello emerged the flag bearer of the party by the consensus of party delegates and stakeholders at a primary which held at the NUT Conference Hall in Kaduna, Friday.
He was affirmed by all the delegates through voice votes.
State party chairman, Mataimaki Tom Maiyashi charged party members to be committed to strengthening the party in order to place the party’s candidates in a good position to contest with candidates of other parties in the 2019 general elections.
He said the party has thoroughly investigated all its candidates and found them to be qualified saying the PRP is ready compete with other major political parties in the next general elections.
Chairman Board of Trustees of the party, Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa who was at the primary urged party members to support the party’s candidates to ensure they win in the next elections.
