Thugs disrupt Jigawa APC senatorial primary

Thugs have disrupted the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for the Jigawa North East senatorial district holding in Hadejia.

Eyewitness told Daily Trust on phone that the supporters of the contestants, the state deputy governor, Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, Hussaini Mohammed and Deputy speaker of the state House Assembly, Ahmed Garba aka MK accused each other of smuggling fake delegates into the venue of the primary.

It was learnt that the three contestants were summoned by the security agencies for an emmergency meeting.

Although, it is not yet clear as reports indicated that normalcy has returned to the venue of the election in Hadejia Township stadium and that the exercise is on progress.
