The political battle between Nasarawa state Governor, Tanko Al-Makura, and his erstwhile predecessor, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has been laid to rest when the All Progressives Congress (APC) released the list of aspirants cleared to contest the senatorial primaries across the country.
The list released today by the APC Acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, indicates that the anointed aspirant of governor Al-Makura, and state commissioner of education Aliyu Tijjani was screen out of the race.
Daily Trust gathered that there was apprehension earlier today in Keffi over disagreement between supporters of the anointed aspirant and Adamu’s boys but the intervention of some elders calm down the situation.
