Chief Emmanuel Bello has emerged winner of the Social Democratic Party’s (SDP) gubernatorial primaries in Adamawa State.
Out of the 783 delegates, Bello polled 634 votes from all the twenty-one local governments.
While delivering his acceptance speech, Bello said he is going to fly the flag of the party high in the upcoming gubernatorial elections in the state.
Bello appreciated all stakeholders and members of the party, adding that if elected, he would focus more on social emancipation of the teaming youth through employment.
He added that he will ensure security of lives and property of citizens while also ensuring accountability.
