Women besiege Zamfara police command, protest delay in starting APC guber primaries

Women hold protest in Gusau, Zamfara state capital over what they described as deliberate delay in the commencement of the APC governorship primaries.

The election process is yet to commence as at the time of writing this report at 4:30pm as all the nine aspirants and other stakeholders are holding a marathon meeting with the state police commissioner to ensure a rancour-free exercise.

Dozens of women holding leaves plucked from branches of trees besieged the police headquarters where the aspirants were holding meeting demanding for the immediate commencement of the election in the state.
