Another All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Bauchi State, Captain Bala Jibrin has condemned the conduct of party’s governorship primaries in the state.
He said that the exercise was marred by various breaches allegedly orchestrated by some elements in the party.
The aspirant disclosed this while addressing journalists in Bauchi on Monday night.
Professor Ali Pate and Dr Ibrahim Yakubu Lame had at an earlier press briefing disclosed that they will also boycott the primaries due to some peculiar reasons.
“We cautioned the chairman of the committee not to go ahead with the election, it will be too late but he insisted,” he said.
He alleged that the committee might have connived with agents of the state government to short-change the people.
According to him, voting materials were not delivered to wards polling centers adding that where they were delivered, the number was drastically reduced to more than half.
