Independence Day: NANS blasts Buhari over insecurity in Nigeria

The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) has described security in Nigeria as “complete shame.”

In a statement issued in Abeokuta, NANS’ Spokesman, Adeyemi Amoo also bemoaned the deplorable condition of Nigerian roads as well as the state of the education system, demanding urgent steps to address the country after 58 years of independence.

“Security in Nigeria is nothing but a complete shame. Insurgents have successfully taken over some parts of the country, while the government keeps assuring us deceitfully on overcoming the insurgents. Hundreds of lives of Nigerians have been terminated by the insurgents.
