Senate President Bukola Saraki says Nigeria needs courageous and youthful people to lead its affairs for rapid growth and development.
Speaking with PDP delegates in Katsina on Wednesday, Saraki said youthful leadership is what is trending all over the world noting that “Nigeria as a nation cannot be left out.”
The presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said the time has come for the youths to take their rightful belonging and place adding that “it is our time to take charge in Nigeria”
“I’m a friend of Katsina and its people, we served together with late Yar’adua and we know ourselves and love him as well, Shema is my good friend as well,” he said
He said, PDP is keenly watching the ongoing election in Osun state noting that INEC and other stakeholders should not try to undermine it as the world is equally watching.
“We have all evidences and records of voters and wards, don’t try to manipulate anything, we as a party are heading to victory,” he said.
Earlier, the state PDP chairman, Salisu Majigiri said the PDP is waxing stronger since the return of Saraki and others adding that the PDP shall reclaim its mandate both at federal and state levels come 2019.
