Kogi Iron Limited has appointed Michael Arnett as a non-executive director in line with the company’s strategy of advancing its Agbaja project in Nigeria.
Arnett has over 25 years experience as a lawyer, corporate adviser and director of professional service firms and publicly-listed companies.
A statement by the company said the appointment of Arnett, who is also the chairman at NRW Holdings, would strengthen the company.
The company’s chairman, Ian Burson, said: “The appointment of Michael adds to the diversity and strength of the Kogi board and we are delighted to have someone of his calibre joining the board.”
Arnett is a former consultant to the board of directors of the natural resources business unit of the law firm Norton Rose Fulbright.
