Everton striker Ademola Lookman is considering committing his international future to Nigeria.
Pulse reports Lookman is about to declare his allegiance to the Super Eagles, the country of his parents.
London-born, Lookman has made 27 appearances for various England teams – including that 2017 World Cup final when England beat Venezuela – and has long been targeted by the Nigerian FA.
A source claimed: “An announcement will be made soon, I’m close to his management and they have confirmed that he has made the decision.”
Lookman was called up by Aidy Boothroyd last week for England’s Under-21 side for the Euro 2019 qualifiers but was not in the matchday squad.
