Liverpool are set to reward youngsters Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold with lucrative new contracts, reports claim.
The pair have been standout performers for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, who have conceded just once during their perfect start to the Premier League campaign.
And, according to The Sun, Liverpool chiefs want to secure their long-term futures and provide significant pay rises.
Alexander-Arnold, who has two years remaining on his contract, currently earns £40,000 per-week at Anfield but will see his wages increase by 50 percent to £60,000.
Ex-Charlton centre-back Gomez started for England against Spain on Saturday night thanks mainly to his impressive performances alongside Vigil van Dijk.
The Sun claim the 21-year-old, who currently earns £30,000 per-week will ‘smash through the £50,000-a-week barrier.’
