Chelsea want Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey

Chelsea could win the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey, reports claim.

Bailey was on the radars of both Arsenal and Liverpool during the summer transfer window, but they were unable to convince him to leave Germany.

But now, according to German magazine Kicker, Bailey has his heart set on a move to Stamford Bridge.

It is said Maurizio Sarri could strike a deal in January providing an offer of £53.4million bid is tabled.

There have been suggestions that Bailey is worth £55m, although it remains to be seen whether interested suitors would be able to haggle on the asking price.
