The former Plateau State Commissioner of Finance, Davou Mang has said he wants to be a member House of Representatives in order to provide quality service and effective representation.
Davou Mang disclosed this when he purchased the nomination form at the Secretariat of People’s Democratic Party in Jos yesterday.
Mang who is contesting to represent Riyom/Barikin Ladi consitutency at the national assembly under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) also boasted that he has what it takes to represent his constituency.
He said, “I have experience in governance, democracy, the legislature and general development. I present myself to a call to the service my constituency.”
He lamented that a lot of things are going wrong at the national assembly because most of the lawmakers weren’t doing what expected of them to do, “but with me at national assembly my constituency would be well represented and I would protect the interest of my people.”
Mang called for a level playing grounds ahead of the forth coming party primaries in September.
He however sued for sustained prayers and counsel of his constituents to enable him deliver on his mandate after the polls.
