NEMA partners flying school on rescue

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has partnered the 401 Flying Training School of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on training to enhance better response to emergencies.

The Director-General of NEMA, Engineer Mustapha Yunusa Maihaja, during a visit to the school in Kaduna, said the agency has developed many policies including the National Disaster Response Plan that guides disaster management in Nigeria.

The Commander of the school, Group Captain Ahmed Yusuf Dari said their achievements include 12 casualty and 13 medical evacuation missions within the last 6 months.
