A joint venture firm, between the Federal Government of Nigeria and May & Baker Nigeria Plc, Biovaccines Nigeria Limited (BVNL) has appointed Mr. Matthew Azoji as its chief operating officer and executive director.
A statement from the company said Azoji would lead the executive team and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the company.
The appointment, according to the statement, takes effect from September 1, 2018.
Until his appointment, Azoji was the managing director of CHAN Medi-Pharm Limited, Jos, Plateau State. He holds a degree in Pharmacy from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and master of business administration,marketing from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu.
Azoji also holds certificates in Pharmaceutical Policy Analysis and Pharmacoeconomics from Utrecht University, The Netherlands, a World Health Organisation (WHO), collaboration centre.
