Artist William Chechet’s last good read is Shepard Fairey’s ‘Supply and Demand’. “It’s an art book,” Chechet said, a clear statement of how much his work influences what he reads.
Fairey’s ‘Supply and Demand’ is described as “the book that finally does justice to Shepard Fairey’s entire body of work, a massive retrospective covering seventeen years of this groundbreaking artist’s prodigious output. Chechet is a mixed media and print artist. Known for his pop art series, ‘We Are the North’, which depicts northern icons He was recently shortlisted for the Art X Prize in Lagos.
