Fed Poly Bida to build new hostels for 500

The Federal Polytechnic, Bida in Niger State has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a private developer, Bertah Nigeria Limited, for the building of 125 hostel rooms at the sum of N125m.

The Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Abubakar Dzukogi, who disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Minna yesterday, said the hostel when completed would accommodate 500 students, adding that the gesture was part of the effort at reducing the accommodation needs of students. He said the project sum would be repayable within 10 years. Dzukogi also disclosed that the management had signed an MoU with another private developer to build a market at the polytechnic.
