Two students of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa in Kwara State, Tajudeen Selim and Temitope OmoTosho, who were accused of being cult members and were recently paraded by the Kwara State Police Command, have been indefinitely suspended from the institution.
The polytechnic management in a statement from its spokesman, Olayinka Aroye, yesterday said before they were paraded by the police, the institution had reported the incidence of forceful initiation to security agencies after a student who was initiated lodged a complaint. The students were suspended indefinitely pending the outcome of police investigation and further findings.
Adewusi Vincent, who was named with two others, had ceased to be a student of the institution, having been earlier withdrawn in 2017 for poor performance, the polytechnic management said.
