The Kaduna state Police Command yesterday arrested two ‘deadly’ kidnappers operating within Jere/Katari axis on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway and Jere-Kagarko road in Kaduna state.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mukhtar Aliyu who confirmed the arrest, said two AK47 rifles where recovered from the kidnappers.

He said, “On 17/12/2017 at about 2130hrs IRT Operatives attached to Operation Absolute Sanity Along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway arrested two deadly kidnappers in our wanted list… The kidnappers arrested with bullet wound after gun battle with IRT operatives are 1) Adamu Lawan 30yrs and 2) Aminu Lawan 25yrs. They confessed to several kidnappings along Abuja-Kaduna expressway and Jere-Kagarko Road.”
